I've got a wonderful candidate that owns a travel agency. She is thinking of giving her agency an edge by offering our inLife amazing electronic cigarette to customers purchasing tickets. Her question is, will the be allowed if the person does purchase one. </p> <p>That’s a good question. My experience is there is not policy that allows/or disallows these devices to be used in any public place. Because they are not cigarettes, they can technically use them anywhere. But, having said that, “approval” is sometimes on a case-by-case basis and sometimes based on an airline hostess or crewmember personal feelings and “authority”. </p> <p>For the most part, I’ve not experienced any crew member or terminal authority restricting the use of these in public. I think they are starting to become better known and more readily accepted. The new FSC (Fire Safe Cigarette) has added another one. Essentially they've now put "carpet glue" rings in the paper, and this chemical seems to be making everyone even sicker. </p> <p>The great State of New York has mandated these cigarettes. I went car shopping and peaked great interest among the car salesmen with the device! This will then open the coffee discussion as well. No matter if people smoke or not, they always KNOW a smoker. The TWO times I didn't have my devices with me, I had people ask me what I do and were interested in seeing one! YIKES!! So.....lesson learned....Don't leave home without them!
