Change the color of your disclaimers

When you put a post on your blog page, don't forget to put one of our disclaimers. If you don't want the disclaimer to be too long, be sure to use at least the 1st paragraph that has the link in it.

Also, so your posting doesn't look too commercial, change the color of your disclaimer font to a very, very light color. That way, it'll be nearly impossible for the average reader to see. Don't use "white" letters. Apparently, the search engine codes have got that figured out to ignore "white on white".

Finally, don't fogret to link each new post from your blog page back to this forum. That's the way we push this thing to the top of Google.

    Hope this helps,

Hey, I just found out that you can change the font size in WordPress. So, by changing the color of the disclaimer to a very, very light color and then reducing the font size to "6", the lowest it can go, it's essentially invisible to the reader.

Here's one of my blog posts so you can see what I'm talking about regarding making the disclaimers almost invisible. http://smokefreeroom.wordpress.com/smoking-facts/

Here are some specific instructions about how to put the disclaimer in your post on your blog and make it almost impossible to read, but still seen by search engines. The change to the disclaimer needs to be made on your WordPress page after you’ve pasted the disclaimer to it at the bottom of your blog. Here’s what you do:

    1. Log into your blog page
    2. Click on “New Post” and put up a blog just as you normally would
    3. Past your disclaimer at the end of your text.
    4. Highlight the disclaimer
    5. Click on the font color choices and pick the lightest color there “not white”
    6. Note: If you can’t see the font color options, click on the “Hide/Show kitchen sink” button to open up that toolbar
    7. Leaving the disclaimer highlighted, click on the “format” options and select “Heading 6” font (smallest one available)
    8. Then, just publish, as usual

    Hope this helps,

    Steve
