One of my new distributors is trying to open up Dubai. That is a great country for us to look into because of the number of smokers and the standing traditions of hooka bars and hooka parlors. But, last December the government health agency (the equivelant of our Surgeon General) banned electronic cigarettes because they don't smell. Yes, you heard right.
The problem, they say, is that parents won't be able to tell if their kids are smoking because there won't be any lingering odor on them. This one has to be the winner of the most creative way to ban electronic cigarettes when you can't find any technical or medical reason to do it.
In these last days of the Olympic Games, we should award Dubai a Gold Medal for this one!
