One of the 'most difficult' parts of Network marketing is getting the person in the room so they can hear the opportunity.
You think the opportunity is so good that you want to involve people that you know...the thing is that you think if you come right out and tell them its MLM, they will say they are not interested.
Remember this;

same goes for trying to help the people you know!
